EasyShipy Seller Pricing & Shipping Charges Policy
Version 1.0 — Effective [INSERT DATE]
This policy is in draft — the effective date has not yet been set. It does not yet govern any live transaction.
1. Overview
EasyShipy is a technology-enabled logistics aggregation platform through which Sellers can access shipping services offered by available Courier Partners.
EasyShipy determines the shipping price displayed to the Seller through the Platform based on the applicable service, route, Courier Partner, shipment characteristics, EasyShipy commercial pricing and other applicable charges.
The amount payable by the Seller through EasyShipy may therefore differ from the underlying rate charged by a Courier Partner to EasyShipy.
2. Shipping Price
The price displayed to the Seller may include one or more of the following:
- Courier Partner transportation charges;
- EasyShipy service or platform charges;
- EasyShipy commercial margin or markup;
- COD charges;
- RTO charges;
- NDR or reattempt charges;
- volumetric-weight charges;
- weight or dimension adjustment charges;
- remote-area or special-location charges;
- fuel or other applicable surcharges;
- communication charges, including SMS or WhatsApp messaging charges where applicable;
- insurance or shipment-protection charges, where separately selected;
- cancellation charges; and
- applicable taxes.
3. EasyShipy Pricing
EasyShipy may determine its commercial margin using a flat fee, percentage-based markup, differentiated pricing, negotiated pricing or another pricing methodology.
The applicable amount payable by the Seller is the amount displayed or otherwise communicated by EasyShipy for the relevant service or Shipment.
The Seller is not entitled to receive the underlying commercial rate negotiated between EasyShipy and a Courier Partner unless EasyShipy expressly discloses that information.
4. Price at Booking
Where practicable, EasyShipy will display the applicable estimated or confirmed shipping charge before the Seller confirms a Shipment.
The final amount may subsequently be adjusted where the applicable Courier Partner records a different Chargeable Weight, dimensions, service level, destination classification or other billable attribute.
5. Taxes
Applicable GST and other statutory taxes will be charged in accordance with applicable law.
The Seller is responsible for maintaining its own tax compliance and records.
6. Changes to Pricing
EasyShipy may change its pricing, service charges, margins, surcharges and other fees from time to time.
Changes may be implemented immediately where required by Courier Partner rate changes, fuel or operational costs, regulatory changes, taxes or other commercial circumstances.
Where a price has already been confirmed for a Shipment, subsequent changes will generally not affect that Shipment except for applicable post-booking adjustments such as weight reconciliation, RTO, NDR or other charges expressly permitted under the applicable policy.
7. Seller Acceptance
By creating a Shipment, the Seller authorises EasyShipy to debit the applicable amount from the Seller's available prepaid balance.
The Seller is responsible for reviewing the applicable charges before confirming a Shipment.
