EasyShipy Weight & Dimension Adjustment Policy

Version 1.0 — Effective [INSERT DATE]

This policy is in draft — the effective date has not yet been set. It does not yet govern any live transaction.

1. Seller Declaration

The Seller must provide accurate Shipment weight and dimensions when creating a Shipment.

2. Courier Verification

The applicable Courier Partner may independently measure the Shipment during processing.

The Courier Partner may calculate charges using actual weight, volumetric/dimensional weight or another applicable methodology.

3. Adjustment

If the Courier Partner's verified Chargeable Weight or dimensions differ from the Seller's declared information, EasyShipy may adjust the applicable shipping charge.

4. Debit or Credit

A resulting additional charge may be deducted from the Seller's prepaid balance.

Where the verified charge is lower than the amount previously charged, EasyShipy may credit the applicable difference to the Seller's account.

5. Evidence

The Seller may request a review of a weight or dimension adjustment.

EasyShipy may use:

  • Courier Partner measurement records;
  • photographs;
  • scan records;
  • package dimensions;
  • weighing records;
  • system logs; and
  • other relevant evidence.

6. Seller Dispute

The Seller may dispute an adjustment within the period specified by EasyShipy.

The dispute must contain sufficient information for investigation.

7. Final Determination

EasyShipy may coordinate with the Courier Partner to determine the final applicable charge.

The final adjustment will be reflected in the Seller's account or transaction statement.

8. Under-Declaration

Repeated or intentional under-declaration may result in additional charges, account restrictions or suspension.

9. Courier-Specific Rules

Measurement methodology and billing rules may differ by Courier Partner and service.
